Teaching

As an Associate Professor of Learning Technologies in the department of Educational Studies with the College of Education and Human Ecology at the Ohio State University, Dr. Correia teaches mainly graduate-level courses in instructional design and consulting, program evaluation and assessment in online and face to face delivery formats. In all her courses she strives to create: (1) authentic learning experiences through the establishment of real-world projects in formal and informal educational contexts, and (2) well-designed learning experiences conducive to in-depth learning.

Dr. Correia is the Faculty Program Coordinator for the Ohio State Master of Learning Technologies, an exclusive online degree focused on applying current research to solving problems of practice facing the use of technology to support learning in a number of in-person, online, and blended contexts.

At Iowa State University, Dr. Correia directed the Graduate Certificate in Instructional Design, which aimed to offer skill development in instructional design and knowledge of instructional technology to those working in education, training, professional development, design, and/or outreach.
